The regional cooperation project was presented by Eduardo Pavon, APRODERVI responsible for the development of the same environmental engineer. Guadiana river that unites us, born fruit of agreement between the Guadiana hydrographic Confederation, PROTAGONISTAS and Local action groups. This initiative launched from February 2011, is based on collaboration and transfer of good environmental practices through activities, seeking to promote the sustainable development of rural areas of Extremadura. During the academic year 2010-2011, most of the centres already conducted activities of environmental education under the umbrella of this initiative. The presentation served to show the project institutionally, emphasize the importance of young schoolchildren in the same, and highlight the results obtained to date, which has worked with about 500 school children of different ages.
